Who We Are

Net Price Calculator Accessibility Statement

Last Update: December 1, 2025

1. Our commitment to digital accessibility

NetPriceEstimate.com, provided by Human Capital Education, is committed to providing equal access to our website, tools, and services for all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to remove barriers and ensure that everyone can understand, navigate, and interact with our content and functionality.
Our goal is to integrate accessibility into how we design, develop, procure, and maintain all NetPriceEstimate.com digital experiences, consistent with recognized accessibility standards and best practices for public facing websites.

2. Accessibility standards we use

NetPriceEstimate.com is being developed and tested with the goal of conforming to:

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative.
  • Revised Section 508 Standards to the extent applicable, which incorporate WCAG 2.0 Level AA success criteria for electronic content.

By following WCAG 2.1 Level AA, we seek to improve accessibility for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

3. Scope of this statement

This accessibility statement applies to:
• The public website located at https://www.NetPriceEstimate.com
• All web pages, online forms, and interactive tools hosted under this domain that are managed by Human Capital Education
• Content we directly create and publish on these pages (see section 5 for third party content)
It does not cover websites or services that Human Capital Education links to but does not control.

4. Current accessibility status and known limitations

We are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of NetPriceEstimate.com. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and some areas of the site may not yet fully meet our target conformance level.
To support transparency recommended in accessibility statement best practices, we encourage maintaining and publishing a list of known issues.
You may wish to customize the items below so they accurately reflect your current status:
Examples of areas that may require remediation (to be customized):
• Legacy documents
o Some PDFs or downloadable documents created before December 1, 2025 may not meet current accessibility standards (for example, missing tags, headings, or proper reading order).
• Third party tools and embedded content
o Certain calculator widgets, videos, chat tools, or other embedded components provided by third parties may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Where feasible, we work with vendors to improve accessibility or provide alternative options.
• Visual contrast and focus indicators
o A small number of buttons or links may not yet meet color contrast recommendations or may lack a clear visible focus indicator for keyboard users.
Where a barrier is discovered, we aim to provide an accessible alternative or timely remediation. Users can contact us using the details in section 8 to report any barriers they encounter.

5. Third-party content and services

NetPriceEstimate.com may include links to, or content from, third party websites or platforms that are not fully under the control of Human Capital Education.
• When selecting third party tools, we consider accessibility and request conformance with WCAG and Section 508 where relevant.
• If you encounter accessibility issues with any third-party content linked from our site, please let us know. Where possible, we will work with the provider or offer an alternative format or method of access.

6. Supported technologies and browser compatibility

NetPriceEstimate.com is designed to work with:
• Current versions of major web browsers, such as Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox
• Desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Assistive technologies, such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech recognition software, and alternative input devices
Best results are typically achieved by using the latest version of your browser and operating system. Older browsers or unsupported combinations of browser and assistive technology may not provide the best experience.

7. Accessibility practices and governance

To support accessibility across NetPriceEstimate.com, Human Capital Education aims to:
• Integrate accessibility requirements into project planning, design, development, and content workflows
• Use a combination of automated testing tools and manual testing (including keyboard navigation and screen reader testing) to identify and address barriers
• Provide training and guidance to staff and contractors who design, write, edit, or develop digital content
• Consider accessibility when selecting or renewing third party platforms and tools

These activities are aligned with recognized good practice for digital accessibility program management and Section 508 implementation.
